Visiting different villages.

Alright guys,

I can’t keep up with everything going on here these days so it’s a bit tricky for me to keep you guys in the loop – sorry!

Last week we were blessed to host our dear coworker/leader/friend KJ. She works tirelessly in the background for Justice Water and we are very thankful for her endurance in missions, her heart for justice, and her very caring heart! She was only here for about 5 full days but we were still able to bring her to 6 different villages to show her the fruit of her labour and all that God has been doing in and throughout Justice Water. We had an amazing time together! Her visit allowed us to get to know her better and truly see her pure heart for not only the ministry or the needs communities face, but also for us as staff.

She brought some printed photos of the villagers to share and seeing their reaction of seeing themselves was so precious! I believe her visit really strengthened our team and brought us closer to one another. So so good!

We showed her the toilet project, the wells that were just drilled, and those that were drilled in the past. We also were able to do some audio Bible distribution with the communities of Elevanyo (where we did our last toilet project and a well there years ago) and Baka-Cope at their well celebration! It was amazing! This has been something on my heart for so long, it truly was special to see it finally happen. We had debated for a long time on how to do it because we never really liked the idea of putting the Bible into their phones as it could easily be erased or lost, and it is a limited solution as not everyone has smartphones. This is something we would like to continue doing and would love for you to join us in (send me a message for details).

Next up we will be moving things along in the village of Kopegan. Soon the hand pump will be installed and the construction of the infrastructure will be started. We are excited for them to finally be able to use their new source of water! Finding water was not an easy process there, it took two tries before we found water so Ibrahim went and bought water for the community to drink as they waited in anticipation for the our team to be successful. Once these last two projects are complete, we hope to start up the next toilet project! Communities have already been coming forward in sharing their need for toilets. It’s amazing to see how God works and especially seeing how when we are patient – waiting for His own timing instead of moving in our own desires/timeframe – He works everything out perfectly, with not much effort from us! What an amazing God we serve!

We are currently faced with many things/needs and would appreciate your prayers and support. Fundraising for projects, our own needs, and being a place of support for others is a bit tough at times – especially when there is a lot happening in ministry and family! Pray that we walk in wisdom, discernment, care, love, and are able to shift from one thing to the next well.

We kind of had a second celebration with the community of Elevanyo! The whole village walked around with us showing us everything! The toilets were extremely clean and well kept – which we were thrilled to see! So was the well. After our time of visiting all around their village and worship with them, we shared the audio Bibles!
I was happy to be a part of it all with the kids!
Ibrahim shares how there is nothing better then hearing God’s Word in your own mother tongue!

We visited the community of Deveme to see how they were doing (photos and videos below). The well we did for them back in 2018 was still working great! They also shared how life changing it has been for them! Children are no longer sick and their old water source has gotten even worse throughout the years. It is a freeing feeling knowing they don’t need to go back there since they have clean water at their disposal! This is where KJ shared photos that she took of them back in 2018.

Kévah playing with the boys in the village!
An acclamation of thanks in Deveme!

Below are photos and videos of our time of celebration with Baka-Cope!

Everyone getting water!
